Area Strategy Groups

Area Strategy Groups (ASGs) are in place in Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City, to enable, improved Partnership and collaborative working to take place between institutions within a local area.
The ASGs continues to plan provision to meet the needs of all 14 - 19 year old learners across a travel to learn area.
The ASGs focus on information, advice and guidance on accessible pathways post 14 and post 16, including specialist support for those with special needs and particular talents.

Membership includes:
Head Teachers of Schools
Senior managers of Colleges
Representatives from support agencies / organisations (e.g. Connexions, NEBA & Aimhigher)
Representatives from Work Based Learning Provider Network
Representatives from the LA / LSC
Local Employers
