The Business and Learner Support (BLS) team grew out of the original Learner Support team, set up in 2004. The team was funded until 2010 by the Learning and Skills Council, as they realised that learners in the workplace were in need of support to achieve the full Apprentice framework and the team was set up to provide this service. Employers quickly realised the benefits of this approach, as it reduced the amount of time learners had to leave work and helped them achieve more quickly. Today's team has exended the areas of expertise both on an individual and a group level and are able to offer bespoke training and support to meet learners, providers and employers needs.
Terms and Conditions - Access to the Business and Learner Support team and their provision, except where otherwise stated, is normally charged at the commercial rate of £25 per hour or £250 per day for members and £35 per hour or £350 per day for non members and partners. Some of our products and services are fully or part funded; for example, ALS/ASN support is funded through the Local Authorities and such funding can be drawn upon by providers to access learner support. Accessing fully or partly funded services is based on funding eligibility criteria. NTN is open to approaches that combine a mixture of services and are willing to discuss options with those interested.
